Ideal for insertion and retrieval of a wide variety of magnetic stirring bars from vessels of all kinds. Polypropylene version has hanging ring. PTFE version is available with rare earth magnet. Inert and leak-free. Can be sterlized via all typical chemical or thermal (i.e., autoclave, etc.) means (except gamma radiation). FDA approved polypropylene and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). Pure polypropylene or PTFE coating. AlNiCo V or rare earth (i.e., SamCo,samarium-cobalt) magnet core. Diameter = approximately 10 millimeters (0.39 inches). Various dimensions and weights.
